Who We Are
At Outreach Overseas, we believe that travel should do more than take you somewhere new, it should transform you, challenge you, and connect you to something bigger. That’s why we exist: to help people step outside their comfort zones and into communities and environments that need their time, skills, and energy, through meaningful volunteer travel.
Female-founded by a passionate traveller, environmentalist, and qualified geography teacher with a degree in development and the environment, Outreach Overseas was born out of a deep love for the natural world and a commitment to meaningful, responsible travel.
From exploring national parks to teaching in rural schools to snorkelling with sea turtles, our founder’s journey was shaped by time outdoors, encounters with different cultures, and the belief that every person has the power to make a difference and grow while doing it.
Now, we’re here to help you do the same.
Our Mission
Outreach Overseas is a volunteer travel organisation dedicated to connecting passionate individuals with ethical, community-led projects around the world. Founded by a team with firsthand experience in NGO operations, fieldwork, and volunteer management, we understand the power of purposeful travel, and we believe it should benefit everyone involved.
Our programs are built on long-term partnerships with local organisations, designed to address real community needs while providing volunteers with immersive, impactful experiences.
